PROJECT AADHAR-Life is miserable for healthy children whose parents have leprosy. They are forced to live isolated life and gradually they become beggars. The society is reluctant to accept them.
In order to ensure that such children also live better and respectable life, LFCET had opened a hostel in Patna ,the capital city of Bihar. Students coming from leprosy families and weaker section of society who passed std. 10th are accepted.
Besides providing them free hostel facilities and proper education, the feelings of patriotism, discipline, character and other good qualities are inculcated.
LFCET firmly believes that education is one of the most important tool to eradicate the stigma associated with disease in true sense.
