Our projects

PROJECT UTHHAAN

The program started by LFCET keeping in mind that medical treatment, education and rehabilitation programmes should go hand in hand. The beneficiaries under this scheme are carefully selected and grouped under various categories like support for repair /construction of houses, financial assistance for livelihood.

PROJECT NIRMAAN

As the name suggests the project is dedicated to the renovation of leprosy colonies.LFCET believes that without providing proper shelter to leprosy affected families , the fight against the disease cannot achieve its target.Our team take visit to the different colonies and based on their need we develop our renovation project for that colony and starts our project.

PROJECT AADHAR

Life is miserable for healthy children whose parents have leprosy.They are forced to live isolated life and gradually they become beggars. The society is reluctant to accept them. In order to ensure that such children also live better and respectable life, LFCET had opened a hostel in Patna ,the capital city of Bihar. Students coming from leprosy families and weaker section of society who passed std. 10th are accepted.

PROJECT UDAAN

It is a scholarship program only for professional courses for the students coming from leprosy families and weaker section of society. They belong to very very poor socio-economic backgrounds. Due to lack of monetary resources these students had no opportunities for higher education.Their families cannot affordto send them to professional colleges/universities, not even if they could borrow the funds.

Little flower Austria is among the few organisations working in the field of education , rehabilitation of leprosy affected person. Mag. Claudia Vilanek and Waltraud Martius its founder members is engaged in humanitarian and philanthropic work from a long time .They travel to different parts of world in pursuit to eliminate leprosy. Their work is well recognised and documented. LFA firmly believes that education and training can mean the difference between poverty and prosperity for people affected by leprosy. Leprosy stigma and financial insecurity can prevent people affected by leprosy and their families from gaining employment or accessing education.....
